Good morning all, hope things are not too bad where u r. Not only having too live with emphysema and copd, which now having sorted my medication out is ok, I have been living with arthritis in my left hip which has gradually got worse over the past years, I went to see the consultant about my hip on Friday last and he said I now need a hip replacement. He said that the waiting time is about 3 months. It will b nice to get rid of the pain. Am not looking for the sympathy vote, it just seems that everything comes at once, bit like London buses. Anyway could I wish all the Dads out there. Happy Fathers Day and to all the Mums, have a really nice day. 👍🤓😂

Enjoy your day too roysieboy. Once that new hip settles in you'll be feeling so much better, there's nothing worse than continuous pain. I seem to get one joint replaced then another goes wrong as you say a bit like buses. Jane

You’re so right, everything does come at once. Petes in pain with his back as if sarcoidosis and COPD isn’t enough. I do wish you well with your hip op.

enjoy fathers day roysie boy.got some idea of ur pain ,im having a partial knee replacement and god willing will get a full 1 in 10 yrs time cos they wear out.x

I've been told may need one in near future - apparently hope are not as bad as knee replacements, thank goodness. Good luck for it x
