Help with asbestos in lungs
Hello Asbestous . 👋
I have rheumatoid arthritis and a lung disease as a result. And I can tell you, I know if it will rain tomorrow by how my joints feel. ☔ Everything hurts so much more and of course breathing is much more difficult. On bad days, I just try and wait it out.
I know it's so hard sometimes. I hope you will feel better very soon.

You are quite right because the higher the humidity, the harder I find it to just breathe, let alone do anything very much productive! Like Caspiana says, our bodies can predict the humidity,in our aching, painful bones or in our struggling lungs. I too find a quick nap lying down helps. We just have to try anything that helps us feel even the slightest bit better- dont we? I hope, weather permitting, you have a good weekend.
Hello Asbestous,
I was finally diagnosed with Asbestosis and centrilobular emphysema last June. I also have sleep apnea and each night after coming off my CPAP machine the pain in my chest has gone away only to return 1 to 2 hours later and then persists until I go to bed in the evening. I think the increased pressure provided by the machine is a relieving factor. I have mentioned this on a recent visit to the sleep clinic and the Respiratory Consultant I saw is also a consultant at the sleep clinic! Any way he was intrigued. The jury is out!
