Hi Fran I'm not out yet as I'm waiting on my mum to cum and we gonna go out together as we haven't been out properly for donkeys xx xx Its a lovely 22 degrees but once I get in car it's usually few degrees more than my phone forecast...such a shame as I can't go in the sun ...I will have to get a parasol for scooter 😢😭...hope your having a nice sunny day 💚💛💜💖 love mel xxx

I’m so missing my French holidays and being able just to sit in the sun and people watch! Nothing booked until November - it’ll be too cold to sit outside and take in the view then!

Oh Helen I’m sorry..why did you decide on November? You have to go quite a way to find good weather I suppose. Bea wants us to go to Italy in the autumn. We’ll see. I let her organise things. Well I’ll know more once I have seen the back specialist but it will be summer at home. Mum is coming over and my Aunt and cousin from England.

We decided on November because it will be the anniversary of the end of WW1 and my great uncle died at Passchendaele and is buried near Ypres. Also we have other relatives remembered on memorials. We’re going to stay near St Quentin. We have been a few times before with our children because I think it is important they understand the history of WW1 and how our family played a part in it.

In the past we have stayed in my sister’s house near Carcassonne in September but she’s gone and put it on the market! My mum is finally moving into an apartment in August so that will take a bit of doing, as well as selling her current house! Busy, busy, busy! I really don’t know how I found time to work!
