Hi sorry to hear you are so poorly. Oxygen isn't given to help with breathlessness per se but only if your other organs were at risk due to lack of oxygen. If your sats are 92 then that's considered ok and it's only if they fall regularly below the mid 80's or so that oxygen is given to protect your other organs. x

Hi, breathlessness can be quite a nuisance can’t it ? Sorry to read you are suffering.

There is no correlation between breathlessness and oxygen levels, as Hypercat has said your 02 levels are within the normal range.

Have you tried purses lip breathing to help manage the breathlessness?

And I assume you have completed a Pulmonary Rehabilitation course too? Good fitness levels can really help.

Keep well.

Have done rehab and try to excercise but breathlessness restricts this. Thank you for response.

Hello Socreates .

Is that reading taken at rest of whilst you are mobile?

I have had asbestos plaques for a very long time. I have found that pulmonary rehabilitation courses have helped me breath better. You need to exercise. I use Qvar and Anoro Ellipta as well as Ventolin when needed.

A little battery powered fan will really help. I can walk a short distance without my oxygen if I let the fan blow on my face. Sheila x
