I have a little partner who I think is fond of me.
And in fact I'm fond of her but try not to let her see.
Because she takes advantage if she thinks she can.
And I'd become her servant or her butler man.
I serve her with her meals and clean up all her mess
I brush her and I bath her of that I must confess
I take her out and treat her we often picnic out.
I do occasionally spoil her of that there is no doubt.
But I maintain strict discipline from that I do not shrink.
I'm the boss in this partnership. At least that's what I think.

Morning Mr D & Midge, who after all steals the show today!! I mean, you have given us another terrific rhyme but alas....๐๐....your little girl takes centre stage today! ๐พ๐พ๐ถ. Funnily enough,my son gave our Hazel ๐๐พ๐พa shower ๐ฟ yesterday and she ran around the garden like a mad dog. She smells lovely which stopped me moaning about the price of the "special dog shampoo" he'd purchased! ยฃ10for a fairly large bottle. Have a good weekend and bank holiday!!

I'm up-staged all the time by either Midge or Skis. ๐ค

You know sheโs saying โThatโs what he thinksโ ๐
Beautiful poem though thanks Don.

I'm not sure that the look agrees as to who is boss! But a lovely friend certainly.

I have seen that look dear Don and a thousand days of your kindness have been wiped out by a few litres of bath water but i am sure Midge will forgive you once she has dried out. x

" what is this human thng with clean water? just got myself smelling decent"

That's it exactly. But that's the price she pays for sleeping with me. ๐

Oh dear, oh dearie me - She Who Must Be Obeyed
Is none too happy with Cap'n - that is plain to see
and to cap it all she is not wrapped in Pink
whilst cavorting in the Captain's sink
Instead sporting something Blue and White
which she detests with all her might
the look in her eyes denotes "I have been betrayed -
However I shall forgive him in a few days."

majji โข in reply toHidden 5 years ago Now YOU have managed to render me almost speechless Cap'n - however it comes to mind that the lovely Sirski might be cogitating with the word "smarmy" and replacing the letters SM with the letter B . . . .

Hidden โข in reply tomajji 5 years ago Do you reckon Skis does much cogitating? Sounds pretty disgusting to me. ๐

In between periods of rumination i have been known to cogitate but only in the presence of consenting adults. x
