Recent Hospital stay

March 28 through the 31st I was in the hospital with fluid buildup. They were able to take off 11 L of fluid. I am on a lot of diuretics. They still say my lung condition should never get any worse. Would somebody please tell my lungs that. Lol

Sorry to hear of your issue 11ltr seems a lot to build up - but on the bright side 11ltr could weigh as much as or more than 11kg so better than any diet😉. But seriously i hope ghings get better and you dont end up in the same situation again. Did they have any idea why it got to be so much over the short time period?

Hi andyrrc. Ive been battling the fluid build up since November my doctor increased my diuretics several time but it just wasn’t enough. They say my lung problem created pulmonary venous hypertension and congestive heart failure. The heart won’t pump properly now causing the fluid build up. Now I’m on a no salt diet. I despise it. Lol. Take care.

How difficult for you! Dad had it a couple of times with pneumonia, he just swelled. He had to go in and have a syringe looking pump as I recall. Got to get that heart in order Bobbi. Wishing you well xx
