Hi Me again, Have my meeting with Specialist in two weeks time so just preparing my questions for him. Been looking at my CT results from June 2017 and it states I have persistent atelectatic change in the lingula, mild bronchiectasis in the medial segment of the right middle lobe with associated mild atelectasis. What does any of this mean. I have been so unwell but my specialist doesn't believe it's all down to this. I am so confused. Still waiting to find out if I have asthma as well or not. So much pain in my ribs and chest but he doesn't feel I should be in pain. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi, Mellypad. I'm sorry, but I can't help you with your questions. But I would be asking the specialist what these words mean in everyday terms. I would also ask what the treatment options are, and whether there is anything I can do to help my condition, like healthy eating, exercise, etc. All the best for your meeting with the specialist in 2 weeks' time.

Thanks for the reply. Have done everything in the past, healthy eating, acupuncture, etc. Might look into it again. Thanks
