Hi I am 68 always had asthma but it never really bothered me, had a bad chest infection Jan 2017 that didn't clear up too well. I am now being tested for IPF at The Brompton. Hopefully it is not.

Hi Robin - the Royal Brompton is one of the best hospitals for diagnosing and treating respiratory problems. Hopefully it will not be IPF but if it is you are in good hands. Let us know how you get on please.

Sadly it is IPF but on a positive note I am on a drugs trial to see what effect they have

Hope it does the trick for you. You will be well monitored on a drugs trial so that will be good.
