Well it’s been month since lung doctor stoped my maintenance antibiotics.
Ad like to say things have been wonderful BUT still have bouts of breathlessness BUT think that is mucus throat issues.
So my question is as anybody had there long term maintenance antibiotics STOPED.
Three years I was taking them BUT have noticed MY tolerance took a hit and could not walk as far or do as much with out them.

Just like to say that glad your feeling good after a month without Antibiots.
And just think how cold and bad the weather is outside so thats a bonas that you are feeling good in this bad weather.

Hi Music wish I was Issue free but do get episodes of breathlessness.
If I could go on my antibiotics I would WHY when I stoped them am not as exercise tolarant
i must admit sometimes when i get a bit breathless the ventoline has and when inhaler before i do exercise really helps me but then i am still mild at the moment

My doctor is trying to stop my maintainence antibiotics but I have health care from a hospital I used to attend who so far has managed to over rule docs decision. At Christmas this year I became allergic to rescue antibiotics clarithomycine which put the fear of bjesus into me. So I have been trying natural antibiotics since. So far so good!
I have 1/2 tablespoon of Apple cider vinegar with "the mother" with 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper and 1 teaspoon of raw organic honey in a cup of boiling water (allow to cool) first thing in the morning (and last thing at night if my breathing is less than good.)
And mid morning I have a organic olive leaf steeped in boiling water as a tea drink.
And raw garlic if I can put it in something I'm eating like salad or a natural yoghurt dipping sauce.
All antibiotic, anti bacterial and anti viral and I'm hoping they are the reason I actually survived so far this winter, which from December 4th to January 30th I was convinced I wasn't going to!
