Just to let you know, I'm still alive and kicking though I haven't' been on line much.
Had a bad turn on xmas night (think it was all the excitement waiting for Santa to arrive !!!!). I had a Syncope ! (blacked out and wife thought I was going, as a convulsed a bit -Very scary for her ....... I have also had a pleasant stay at a hospice and have just come home this week- so I have been incommunicado for a while.
So just to let you know I'm not at the haunting stage , I would just announce I'm still sucking it in
Hope your all as well as can be expected and taking care of your self without the urge to join the Bob-sleigh teams at the Olympics
Take Care

Hi Plumbob good to see you sorry you ended up in the hospital over Christmas but I'm sure Santa found your bed with your stocking hanging off the end. How do you feel now do you feel much better. Not sure if you have seen Tony sadly passed away, take care plumbob
So sorry to hear about Tony, He will be at rest with no discomfort. There is never a right thing to say in these circumstances I'm dipping a little quicker and my ability to be independent is slipping away, Everything is a chore, and i would struggle without my wife. Very rare I leave the bedroom but I wont let it get me down. I'm still smiling and causing mischief. Hope you have plenty of support around you ?
So glad you are wtill causing mischief Owen. Hope you see an improvement soon in your general health. Nothing wrong with your brilliant sense of humour.
Glad to hear this Bob and thanks for letting us know. I'm still traumatised by Tony's death, we've lost so many good people here recently. So definitely pleased to hear that Plumbob's still sucking it in. And long may you continue
Owen staying alive is the easy bit, having life within you which you have in abundance and always bring us cheer is the real achievement, thanks for being you,,,,,,,,,,Skis and Scruffs
Nice to see you again Plumbob, and to hear your usual conversation. Sorry you have been under the weather for a few months hope your on the up now. Take care and best wishes, hope to speak again soon.
Hi Owen - never occurred to me for a moment that you wouldn't still be "sucking it in" (great expression btw!) If you've survived this dreadful winter & a bad turn on Christmas night - absolutely the worst night of the whole year to get suddenly ill - I've no doubt you'll be causing mischief as you put it for quite a while yet. Anyway after dozy, scrobbs, brooke and now our lovely Tony, you'd better not go anywhere, you hear me?!
When they come for me they better have their body-armour on .....because there's gonna be a hell of a lot of kicking and scratching that's going to be done first ????? LOL
