Hi Everyone
Here I am asking for help again. I was diagnosed with bronchiectasis in 2012. I have had lots of tests and several treatments for infection with antibiotics over the years. In September 2017 - I had a massive bleed from my lungs whilst I was driving and was hospitalised for 4 days - CT scan showed a lot of blood in the lungs but a bronchoscopy in November 2017 showed little deterioration and no current or latent infection - e.g. TB. However, my breathing has gotten a lot worse but my consultant is at a loss to understand why... me too... I have noticed that the breathlessness is worse in the morning and bad when i bend over to put on socks, shoes, etc. Also worse when I hold my arms out to carry something - e.g. fill the kettle for a morning cuppa - even typing at computer keyboard (plus the more obvious activities - walking up small incline - mounting stairs, etc.) Any and all help/advice greatly appreciated as always.
Kindest regards, Swimmer
