I have pulmonary fibrosis and I have difficulty breathing. As soon as I breathe in, I cough, and can't stop coughing. Any help appreciated

You could ring the BLF helpline for advice. 03000 030 555 during office hours.

Thank you. Is there a charge for that phone call do you know? I am breathless and it takes me a long time to say something - it could be an expensive call!

It is the cost of a local call but you can request that they call you back.

I’ve had it for 8-10 yrs now.I know that feeling.Buteyko breathing method helps.Discovered Inhaling through mouth is wrong.Should be in- nose,out- mouth.Use stomach muscles to inhale. That helps with tum probs too!

It eased my coughing quite a lot. Good luck😉‼️

I’ve been advised not to buy any supposed breathing gadgets.Only use what your consultant advises.
