If anyone is using anora ellipta I would like to know how many days or weeks does it take to start feeling the positive effects after starting it.

I have been on anora for over a year now, felt the good effects within a few weeks

Regrettably, have only been on Anoro for 15days and had to change to other inhalers. I was disappointed after hearing all the positive comoments. Found the need to use Ventolin far to often. Spoke with consultant who advised change.
It’s a matter of’ horses for courses’
Hope it works well for you. Stay positive!
What did you move on to dogcyrus ?
Relva Ellipta 92/22 and incruse ellipta 55
My consultant mentioned a new inhaler to be released shortly with all medications combined in one inhaler such as Anoro Which he will prescribe later.
I’ve read about one called Trelegy, I wonder if this is the one. Good luck with the relvar and incruse.
I will check that out - I also asked consultant about TRIMBOW yet to be used generally in uk. He mentioned that a newer medication will be available soon.
Mybe it Trelegy?
I've been in it for many years. It's a fairly gentle-onset inhaler but it's reviews are excellent. I couldn't tolerate the more dynamic alternative but Anoro has caused me no problems.
I started it some two months ago and for me it worked very well and I felt a positive change within the first week.
I have been in it for three months now and felt it helped within a few weeks
thanks to everyone who responded. I just started anora yesterday and actually thought it made my breathing worse. I thought about stopping it, but then I wondered if it was just the type of drug that needs time to Agustin in the body in order to reach its optimal benefits. So I will stay with it for at least a week and see .
Good breathing to all

It's the best inhaler I've used. unfortunately,I had to stop it ,as I was told that I have asthma, rather than COPD which was the initial diagnosis.
I was told first by oncologist I had COPD and had the Spiro test and scored 136%. Will see pulmonologist in March but I wonder about asthma or what the heck? I do have lung cancer but I do not understand why i was toldi have copd. '
My GP told me I had COPD following a lung test done at the surgery. However,I was referred to the lung specialist as they were also querying lung fibrosis. I had further test done at the hospital, where it was discovered that I do have asthma and not COPD. The consultant did not think that I have lung fibrosis, but has requested a scan to discover if there is other damage done to my lungs. Had to stop taking Anora,as it's dangerous for people with asthma.
