I use it to help mucus clearance, after I've nebulised hypertonic saline. It does the same job as the green acapella you can get free on NHS prescription. But since my breathing has worsened, I've found it a lot less effort than the acapella, so you can use it for longer, and helpful if you can only breathe out for a few seconds at a time. Expensive though so maybe try the acapella first.

Hi Doradee. I use a Flutter device which works in the same way as aerosure and couldn’t do without it! Regular use has helped me to deal with my asthmatic and bronchiectasis-blighted lungs congested with annoying amounts of mucus. By removing as much gunk as possible from your lungs you can help to reduce lung infections. I was nervous about using it at first but had instructions from a physiotherapist and hope that it helps you. Good luck! Ex

Hi - we looked at this for my partner who has stage 4 COPD and decided it was not up to the job and researched SoeMac, designed and made in the UK. We purchased this just over 2 weeks ago and it has helped with his relaxation when sleeping. I would give the research a look to see if it will help you.
