Traffic related pollution and increase of asthma and lung disease in middle age

I’ve heard of this connection before. Well away from busy roads where we’re living now....too far away really! And It is on our ‘avoid’ list for the new house we hope to find too 🏠 So doing what we can but traffic pollution far too high. Roll on electric cars.....🚘

Yes find out the air quality before you choose where to live..

The problem with electric cars is how you produce electricity..in France it is mainly nuclear power stations..

Geneva is very polluted I think, I could see tinted looking clouds over the lake stagnant waters yesterday..glad I am not living there..

I live next 2 a main road and diagnosed with asthma in middle age

Sorry.. difficult to choose where you live sometimes..I thought it was interesting because I was also diagnosed with adult onset asthma when I moved from the Swiss mountains to work in Barcelona, it was humid and polluted, then to London which finished me off..😃 Since I have been back in Switzerland again my health has improved.

Yes at one point I taught in a school which used to be a sanatorium in fact. Full of those grand hotels up there..
