I have bronchiolitis obliterans which is an interstitial lung disease, causing pulmonary fibrosis. In my case caused by drug I was prescribed for atrial fibrillation. I am now on ambulatory oxygen. There are many here who have ILD. There are many different ones!

Hi, My Mum has just been diagnosed with ILF, Pulmonary Fibrosis though we think it’s caused by Meds she was on for Rheumatoid Arthritis we’re not 100% sure. We have an appointment with her specialist on 24th of this month. We are hoping to come away from that appointment feeling a lot more informed and positive. Can I ask where you are Emhuss?

Hi there. I m Andy's mum and he has ILD. I am on here for help from these lovely people to help keep me sane. My son was diagnosed about 2 years ago. The type cannot be determined because it is too dangerous for him to have an open lung biopsy. So he is kinda on the transplant list for a double lung transplant but is currently taking a 3 month break ashe is having doubts about having the op. He takes micophenolate. And a high protein diet. He won't come on here which is a shame asI think it would help him. Anyway. Good luck to you.

I have lymphangioleiomyomatosis alias LAM it is an interstitial lung disease..as smooth muscle cell cysts invade interstitial spaces.
