Sorry you have emphysema and bronchiectasis.

Re bronchiectasis - your consultant should refer you to a respiratory physiotherapist, who will teach you techniques and show you gadgets to help with lung clearance.

They may send you for a cf sweat test and a lung function test and could send you to an immunologist. All this may not happen from the first consultation.

Write down any questions you have in bullet points so you don't get muddled and you will find they will probably talk to some of them in any event.

This is the most up to date information on bronchiectasis from the European Respiratory Society. It goes from very basic to videos from clinicians to clinicians, so just dip into the stuff you feel ready to read.
