Is it a nasal steroids spray? Sounds like my Avamys..make sure you breathe through your mouth only for 30 secs afterwards, rinse your mouth and even brush your teeth and gargle.

Good luck!!

Will do, I had Avamys did not really do anything. This one is antihistamine and some antibiotic too I think, it's fairly new I think. It seems much bette than anything I've tried in past. Gonna have an op next year though, they going to straighten my septum and also burn some of the lining too. It's worth a go I think as it's such a problem so I'll try anything.

Good luck with the op...nasal problems are never ending..I have a small deviation but it doesn’t require an op.. had the lining done years ago, it grows back..best thing I found was using my inhalers regularly because they help to dilate nasal passages as well in fact..washing morning and evening with seawater..I had antihistamines for years when I lived in London I don’t need them here, pollution was my trigger..Always had one nostril closing at night for years. I have to sit up in bed anyway..

Would you believe that since I am on a low dosage of steroids because the adrenal glands insufficiency I hardly have any nasal problems? They act as an anti inflammatory of course..best thing I have ever done going on steroids, whatever the consequences later on in life it is helping me tremendously..

G'day, Shancock...reading your post raises a question...I am on the same spray, twice daily, are you tipping your head forward 45 degrees and then inhaling as you pump the spray??

Tipping the head backwards will permit the vapour to reach the back of the throat where as tipping it forward will allow the spray to reach the sinus area...Just a thought !!

I only tip my head forward

You are correct it is new and one of the better sprays around

Good luck with it

I tilted my head slightly forward. I only take it once at night as it makes me slightly tired though.
