This looks interesting - thanks Fran. Rushing out to my PR maintenance session but will listen later on. I have often thought my pain threshold may be quite high but then certain pains, nerve pain usually, is unbearable. I used to be an Expert Patient Programme tutor and we used to teach distraction techniques, I'll be interested to see if this bbc programme goes into that. Thanks for posting.

Great..I went to PR for 2 years now I do my own..great programme, I imagine you were a very caring and competent tutor 🌸🌷🌺

Just listened. Interesting that the Pain Toolkit mentioned near the end was developed by an Expert Patient Trainer, yet we were never told of it. Lots to check out there:
