Exercise is life changing as well as life extending (makes all the difference to my life and every one i know with lung problems says the same) this i know to be a true fact. I know nothing about dehumidifiers.

I have to use dehumidifiers in the bedroom in wet weather to stop things growing mouldy. I have no problem using them, and they don't cost a lot to run. You can get throw away pack dehumidifiers in Tesco for £1 each, which we use in individual cupboards. I also have a battery operated one that cost about £40, but in really wet weather we use a mains operated one which cost about £130 and is the most efficient. It warms the room too.

I've looked for the source of the damp and can't spot it, so dealing with the symptoms has to do, rather than finding the cure.

Hi bigkeith 1955. I cannot stress enough how important exercise is, and you will certainly feel the benefit, I am a lazy old woman, aged 75 and the exercises I did at rehab really made a difference, go for it is my advice. Let us know how you get on xx

1000 % beneficial, and as a very lazy old git myself, I can say that if you stick at it for a few weeks, then eventually it becomes quite fun and enjoyable. The minute you stop though, you forget that and become lazy again. Esp for diabetes keeping active will keep you alive. its a simple choice - excercise and stay well or don't. Excercise is proven to help regulate blood sugar - so your hypos shouldn't be a problem.
