Confused!

The surgeon asked me if I would let them use the latest technology on me for my lung biopsies! the makers would be there to show them how to use it, instead of three entries it would be one entry with 3d camera, tools, and drain tube, he said you will be in very good hands for the first one to use it, lots of surgeons will be there to watch this latest technology! I agreed op went really well, 5 hours later I was going home, bumped into my surgeon and asked him what the new equipment was like, he said fantastic much better going in one entry and the 3D camera was out of this world! 3 weeks later went to see the consultant for the post-op meeting, who said they didn't find any cancer but the asbestos damage as made my right lung fused to my ribs and they can't do anything for fear of damaging the lung anymore! I said so the 3D camera and one entry was good was it, he said they didn't use it they couldn't get passed because your lung is stuck to your ribs because of the asbestos damage! he didn't answer me when I told him what the other surgeon said ,Like my wife said on the way home If they didn't use the new technology how is it you only have one entry cut instead of the old way of three cuts???

I believe the surgeon who asked my permission to use it, he was like a child at Xmas when I asked him how it went!

I did, he said its better for one entry than three, less chance of infection etc, plus the use of the 3D camera, He said the detail was fantastic

Sounds to me like it worked perfectly but they couldn't get to the desired location due to the lung/rib fusion problem.

Great!! I expect it is like a trial, he needed your permission, thank goodness for progress..anyway I am glad you don’t have cancer but what treatment did he suggest for your asbestos damage?

Can't do anything for me, just take painkillers and Ventolin.
