Hi I am usually 88 to 92 copd. If I can't maintain 88 when off oxygen I usually have infection. On oxygen 16 hours per day. Keep well.

Yes, for what is wrong with you that is fine. If you do drop below 88 because you are doing something energetic, just check it goes back up pretty quickly when you stop. Take care!

I'm fortunate that mine sit in the mid 90's (when awake) but, without CPAP, drop to low 80's/high 70's when sleeping! Anything below 88 CAN start to damage internal organs so, as long as you remain above the 88% you should be fine - as always, if you are concerned then talk to your GP.

Best wishes

That seems odd as I always thought they gave you the results right away. They did when had mine done. Told me the distance I walked, my lowest O2 and highest heart rate.

My O2 is generally 94-96 but I try to go up and down our stairs five times in a row most days and then by the fifth time it can drop to 90-91 but recovers very quickkly. Heart rate can be as low as 43 and on the elliptical can be 165.

Good luck with continuing to remain smoke free as they say it is the most important thing you can do for COPD but also for your general health. The next most important thing is probably exercise or at least walking.
