Spirometry results interpretation

Hi, I'm hoping someome might be able to shed some light on what a "normal" spirometry test result should be. I had my first test last month having had well controlled asthma all my life (34 yrs) however was very breathless for 9months due to reflux off the back of hpylori infection. Ive been told by my GP one of my results was under the normal range but I dont know by how much and that he would have expected my result 2nd time to improve after I was given nebulizer but it only improved by a few %. As such Im on waiting list to see Respiratory. Ive been told theres a massive back log on waiting list and I could be waiting for 3-6 months. This is causing me anxiety as Im worried this means my inhaler isn't working properly when I'm struggling with breathing and that my problem is my lungs and not stomach reflux. Can anyone shed any light on the spirometry tests?

Hi. 'Normal' is measured against a scale which takes into account age, height, ethnicity and gender and different lung conditions have differences too.
