I have asthma and bronchiectasis, have had 2 months of daily abs', still have limited mobility - minds willing, body isn't. Am due to see consultant again early next month. Am still trying to improve by walking - use it or lose it! Know when I've overdone it! Ventolin doesn't always help. Is there anything else I could try - I am aware that it might not improve, but would rather ask on here than google! Thanks

This is a complicated one. Do you still have the symptoms of a bronch exacerbation? lots of coloured mucus etc. Or is your asthma giving you problems? Are you making sure that you get rid of the gunk in your lungs? Bronch exacerbations do knock you for six but the right antibiotic in the right dose for 14 days as you say that you have been having should be making you feel bettery now. Is the consultant whom you are seeing a bronchiectasis expert? If not, do change to one who is. You will see from the responses of others on here that they are very different to general respiratory consultants. I'm sorry but I can't be of more help at this point because you need the experts to find out what is making you feel so dire. Then hopefully that can be dealt with
Thanks littlepom for the reply, I have doxy daily have just about managed to go infection free for 2months! (After monthly infections) occasional discoloured mucus. Think you're right, will have to wait for consultant, it may be the asthma side. He seems to know his stuff. Suppose I'm being impatient
