Over the last couple of days I am more breathless. Can this sometimes happen with weather changes as it has gone a bit colder.

Yes it can happen, but there is no hard and fast rule, we are all different. For me it is the very warm, humid weather that does me in. Last winter I was fine when out and about, unless I came across somebody using wood burner. The summer came and my breathing was worse. Obviously you are the opposite as are lots of others.

I'd tell Dr. Usually hot humid high dew points make me more short of breath and cooler weather crisper air not freezing but fall like weather I am so much better. Thats more the usual. Allergies?

Yes another possibility, it is now the fungal spore season, you could try taking Cetirizine tablets and see if that helps.

I am like you in that my breathing is better in cold, crisp dry air. Any dampness makes my breathing very difficult. This is a bit of a drawback given that I live on the west coast of Scotland.

Hello ol-ly11 . Most definitely. I don't do well on a rainy day or a hot humid day. Winter dry , cold air constructs my airways further. Fluctuations in temperatures also make breathing more difficult. Hope you are doing better today.

Yes, especially if you go from warm indoors to cooler temperatures. It's as if your lungs spasm. It's said Mediterranean climate is the ideal climate.

Yes I find damp weather to be the worst. I've been trying deep breathing exercises. Also going for a walk when your struggling a bit for breath can encourage more oxygen into your lungs and ultimately ease symptoms. Remember your ventolin if things don't improve.

Hope your feeling ok.
