Yes, @ stone-UK posted it earlier here,
Thank you very much anyway, the more people who are vigilant the better, so don't let it put you off from posting important news again.
Elizabeth,Although your post is similar to Stones it appears to be a far more in depth article coming from a far more learned source'the guardian'(sorry did i mention i was a literary snob)and equally informative.thank you for posting it and please keep posting info and anything else you care to as all information relating to our conditions is always received with gratitude..........do keep well......skis and scruffy
Many thanks for posting very good article xx
Ooops. I didn't check to see if anyone had already posted this article. xx
None of these articles have meaningful numbers.
A 20% increase in risk is very worrying if it represents 6 out of 10 instead of 5 out of 10. It is much less worrying if it represents 6 out of a million instead of 5 out of a million. Both are an increase of 20% in the risk. Also various chemicals are referred to indifferent articles including bleach, ammonium compounds and alcohol (presume ethanol from surgical spirit since is nurses but that would also include cetrimide).
No usable info here.
PS Does the Daily Express version of the story conclude that we are all going to die from cleaning the bog?
Take from the articles what you need. For me they help to explain why, whenever I'm near bleach/disinfectant odours, my lungs feel like they're going to shut down.
People will take what they perceive to reinforce what they already believe irrespective of what the article actually says or doesn't say. When it is reported in news media it has already been subjected to at least 1 additional interpretation before we read it.
I can't won't use bleach disinfect sprays polishes anything like that now I feel much the same as you and refuse to buy them now save money too lol xxx
