I just need some help of getting a second opinion on on my investigation

What is the best ild center in the uk ? And what's the procedure to get there.

Some may say The Brompton but depends where you are. Go via GP. You're entitled provided you have a first opinion. What does Wythenshawe offer?

Im in Norwich probably Brompton will be closest...problem is i dont have a diagnostic...some subtile ground glass on ct scan... pft normal dlco normal

Papworth in Cambridgeshire,not that far from Norfolk.I live in Birmingham and travel to Papworth.Ive also travelled from Cromer whilst on holiday to Papworth,no problem.Sooki.

I have IPF and emphysema ,my IPF is classed as familial as my mother had it.I initially saw Dr Helen Parfrey,now I usually see Dr Nicky Simler,they are all excellent,the staff are all brilliant.I have been treated for over 4 years and I am stable.I do have a low DLCO reading puts me in the severe category,my next challenge is to survive cancer as my consultant told me the operation will compromise my lungs..Sooki.You should join our community on Pulmonary Fibrosis Uk thru Facebook,we all suffer from IPF and are a supportive group.(Linda).
