Reading about the way some people struggle get on pulmonary rehab is stargerring .but hearing how those who have done it is awesome

You are right. PR really is awesome.

I live in Rotherham, which has a horrendous reputation in this country, but we DO have a unique respiratory unit here, where we take PR and maintenance classes as the norm. What horrifies me is the number of patients who don't turn up, or who still smoke. We are so lucky -- but there are those who just misuse this brilliant service.

It was mentioned on GPs behind closed doors last night. NOW if I was the patient with no contact with health unlocked BLF, it would have seemed a waste of time and suspect it was just 'fobbing off' the patient. It's amazing what a difference hearing from COPD patient's personal experience makes!
