Love the cartoon Jeff. That is often how I feel.
I think the care copd and I presume other lung conditions are terrible ,I feel like I have been sent home to suffer and die xx
I totally agree, i feel l have been given my meds and pretty much told off you trot.
I last saw my consultant at the start of Feb and have had 3 appointments cancelled.
Shadow4me I don't think your wrong there and 71% of us agree with you.
As to being on your own have got us and we might be tad defective but am sure have each other's backs
I have quite severe copd and haven't never has yet seen a consultant and have been having to google everything to educate my self or try although its frightening at times to read about this horrid illness .I see a nurse at the doctors once a year or if I get ill a paramedic at the surgery has the doctor is normally booked for a month ahead i think it is discusting that one of the richest countries in the world has the second worst outcome for lung disease or cancer oh to be rich and afford the care we should be getting they wont around this area allow you a nubiliser until later stages wrong so wrong xx
Shadow, if you bought yourself a nebuliser, would they prescribe the meds for you to use with it ? Every so often they sell them in Lidl and I know several people here have bought nebulisers for home use.
Few of these MP's lords should defo try stint of lung diseases perhaps next time BLF at parliament can get MP's lords running round with those face masks on that simulate lung diseases.
Let them experience summer lung diseases and heat exhaustion
I did the survey earlier today, it said
"You are not alone
80% of other users in Action for Happiness identified feeling more confident in the care you are receiving as an area of concern.
Why not talk to them about it. "
So I am talking
I did think, after doing the Needs survey there would be some tips on what to do about things, but I couldn't spot any.
