this was the state of my lungs before on right and 15 month post transplant on left as you can see is was well ill

yes but i have diabetes now from steroids but breathing is brill

ive had one to get out of hospital thats it they only do them if they think you have rejection

its pointless unless you show signs like in the blood tests breathing etc it not a nice thing to have done

Hi a very noticeable difference, hope you are feeling as good after the transplant.. Don't forget to get exercising, eating well and keeping fit. They don't unfortunately do this again and certainly not golden oldies like me. Look after them they are very precious.

Fantastic! What ailment was that in the 'before' x-ray .. ie what was your diagnosis pre transplant?

PS Tell that woman beside you to get some clothes on...lol

it was for ipf i was down to a month to live i was given 4 month at xmass and done in march

Hi I just read an old post of yours and hope you don't mind me asking but how are you after your transplant and did you sail through yours ok and no complications after ?? I'm so interested to speak to people post transplant so hope I'm not being intrusive ☺

all is fine yes i sailed throu ok in and out in 3 weeks they changed my drugs so havein a few probs at min like me diabeties is a little haywire but they will sort it im sure as for op well went bobos woke up new lungs anything you want to ask feel free i dont mind ps im going camping on friday culd not have done that 2 years ago

Hi l am 76 my name is David I live in Broadstairs under treatment at Guys hospital , my daily medication is 6 carbocisteine 375 mg caps, 2 zomorph 10 mg caps, and 2 150mg nintedanib caps, have no other alements that need medication so am quite fit apart from nackerd lungs , any body on similar similar drugs care to comment,
