COPD / pancreatitis
If your bloated and constipated it will push up on your diamphragm and your lungs making it harder to get air in and out bless you . See your pharmacist GP or ring blf helpline for some advice on something to ease the constipation and decrease your bloating...make an appointment to get checked over ... You must be uncomfortable xxx
Yes will be seeing the doctors tomorrow morning xxxxx
That's good news take care nowx
Don't know if this is too late to help but my hubby was prescribed Creon to help with digestion
Sue XxX
Not a fix for your immediate problem but you may find that something like Creon with meals may help with digestion and reduce recurrence. If you are seeing anyone about the pancreatitis they would be able to advise or give a referral to a dietitian.
Keep the fluid and fibre intake up.
I am on creon 2 after each meal now I am on 1 after each meal thx Ipogle for your help
I know how your feeling after lung surgery i was given codeine which bunged me up badly and i was in agony but i was given laxido and its brilliant stuff its in powder form just add water and drink ask your Dr about it and you can also buy it on the internet hope this helps hope your better soon xx
Cool been to see the Dr this morning taken me of codiene increased the amount of dosage of laxitude xxx thank you for your help xx
Lactulose will make you very bloated and can cause painful wind, I have lots of gut issues and won't use it, dreadful stuff. Prefer movicol, gentler, less wind. I also occasionally use glycerine suppositories, unpleasant but they do stimulate the bowel so producing movement. If you are constantly bungled up then yes you will be breathless and have pain, drink lots of water, hydration is important too.
Good luck, hope you feel better soon.
