Please, does anyone have experience using an electric air cleaner? The type that removes, pollens, alergens and bacteria. Some of them have fans which cool or heat the air, do those help?
Thank you

Hi
Difficult to say if there are any benefits, although any clean air must be a bonus.
The one that works as a cool/heater " Dyson" only scores 58% for removing pollen.

I've got the Dyson air purifier, very expensive but very good. Purchased it last year with a lot of deliberation over the cost but this year I'm thinking thank God we got it. It's a lovely fan and it feels like its clearing the air, but it will not cure all ills. I love it though x x
I use a dehumidifier/air purifier combined (ecoair DC202). This is an excellent machine but it costs £220. It's worth it though.
We have used a "breathe" air purifier for 4 years. Unit cost $140 We highly recommend it..It will cover a large room and because of it's small size can be moved from room to room.

Thank you for your post snoopy-the-dog.
I bought one over a year ago, it has a metallic smell but works up to a point.
We bought an air purifier about a year ago for my grandson who has really bad asthma and we found that his attacks were less than before he had it. I know they cost a lot but it's worth it in the long run, talking about long run wish I could at the moment lol. Hope that helps you decide. Take care.
Just asked the same question. I understand it depends on the person and how sensitive the lungs are to pollutants and allergens that cause flare ups. Personally I can't use scented deodorants. If i can smell it I cant use it. I did get a new hobby. Certain house plants help to clean and oxygenize the air. Still studying on it. But picked up some lovely plants.
