I try not to exercise near main roads. This research shows evidence that the carbon can also change the way bacteria work and affect the use of antibiotics.

I avoid it if I can but difficult as a city dweller without transport to get to fresh air, with the time constraints of working.

Very interesting article I live on an industrial access road, with lorries ect going up and down at all hours. If I open windows my walls become black with dust. How am I supposed to exercise safely or are the symtoms in my joints caused by this contamination when doing my garden. This living condition obviously makes my lung codition worse, but I have always lived in a city and mostly on a heavy vehicle use road, so I wonder what exercise is safe for myself and how else I can avoid air pollution other than stop breathing :) :)
