Hi, I was diagnosed with pleurisy 10 days ago after suffering with severe chest pain for 3 weeks. I've been prescribed Naproxen which take the edge off but the side effects aren't great so I've stopped taking them, the question is will this clear up on its own or should I go back to the GP?

If I were you I'd be making an appointment to see the doc, don't think it's a good idea to just stop taking your meds.
Pleurisy can clear up on its own. However best advice would be to keep your doctor informed that you cannot take your meds. There are other options that could work for you.
