Hi

One option is to hire a portable concentrater.

healthoxygen.com/rental-inf...

Do you intend flying or driving.

Emirates don't charge either. I've just paid £100 each way to fly with Thompson to Majorca in October making a cheap break not so cheap. I only need oxygen whilst in flight. Joy.

Thanks for the information, very helpful! Have done some digging earlier and I think it will be better if I just hire a portable which I've been told I will be able to take and use I presume, on any airline cos it's classed as Medical. More ringing around I think

Hi

There will one stipulation is that you have adequate battery power for the duration of the flight.

Thanks for the welcome Cas

Hi Chubbly

If you only will need oxygen once you arrive in Italy, you could contact the Italian Tourist Board who may be able to find local suppliers in the region: italiantouristboard.co.uk/t...

As others have mentioned above though, if you do need it for the flight, hiring (or buying) equipment is the only real option. We have a few numbers for UK based rental companies available on our helpline (03000 030 555) .

I hope this helps. Best wishes,

Ben

Hi there! You might check on the Gov.uk website for reciprocal health care in Italy. I know it works for when brits come over here to Spain and need oxygen supplied. As others have said though, doesn't help if you need it in flight. Good luck and enjoy. :) x
