Fairly new to asthma I'd like some advice on preventers
Hi! You need to ask the asthma nurse about the change and why she is reluctant to put you back on one that seemed better for you. There has been some talk that Seretide use can make people more likely to get pneumonia. There may be good reason for the change.
Thanks for the reply two puffs of the old one seems to have calmed my cough as I'm new to asthma it's hard to tell weather I've got a cold chest infection or asthma related cough Seems I've been coughing all my life as I look back lately it gets so violent but initially the pumps really helped thanks again
You don't say what they are? You need to be assertive - if you were doing better, insist you're put back on the one that suits you. The change probably cost driven. Complain if s/he refuses.
