Hi chrispor.I was reading you message on here.I have copd i went to get advice but was told i would not get it at the moment as i can do day to day things.ive come to the conclusion to claim you have to be house bound, with no quality of life before you can claim.i work full time to pay the bills and i struggle at work.there's no harm in trying yourself.
Hello CHRISpor, welcome to the site. I would say try a claim for PIP as your illness will be long term and you may need help at anytime if taken ill.
Hi anyone aged 16 to 64 can apply for PIP if they have a disability. So there is no harm in trying. But PIP is awarded for how your disability affects your day to day life. Not for what condition you have. Good luck if you apply get help filling in the form I used the CAB as they know the right words to use . Xx
Hi CHRISpor we have a benefits advisor here on the BLF Helpline who would be more than happy to go through your options with you.

thanks I will have to think about it but brilliant help thanks again
Faster response helps as in nebulizer, exercising and stretching. I'm an in home hospice patient and the nurses and doctor take good care of me. It's a bad disease my mom passed in 2000 and my uncle 2008. I guess I'm next? It's deplorable how little progress is being made on this! Don't wait on anything this is when we use ourselves as test cases.
