Don't want to boast people but I have just arrived, with my daughter in Vienna. We are here for five days as I am being treated for my 75th Birthday which is on Wednesday, so come on Jennifer - nod nod wink wink - extra special cake please !!!!! 🤣 🎂 xx

I used to love an afternoon baking with a good long play on the radio, not the 45 minute ones they give us now. Cakes, apple pies, all sorts and flour everywhere 😊 🍪 🍰 🍥 🍕 x

...only if you really are a little better Yes, I too loved the old baking days, a really good hour long play that you could get your teeth into. Children using up the left over pastry for jam tarts that were just delicious...and how they looked forward to Daddy being presented with one as soon as he walked through the door. We had lovely days Sue.

How wonderful for you I am sure you will have the most amazing time. I do feel sorry for Hidden having to compete with all the droolingly scrumptious cake shops they have in Vienna. It's a good thing she is the site's star baker, but nevertheless she will be up ALL night trying to compete.
