Fighting Lupus

Happy new year's to all I am fighting Lupus with being on oxygen 24/7 due to Lupus. Any suggestions on how to stop coughing.

Coughing is reflex to irritants your breathing in .. If household stuff or new purchases been eliminated ask your doctor to look at oxygen concentration types to see if outschanged with or suppliers.

Thank you Jeff coughing is a part of the Lung disease fibrosis due to Lupus affecting the bottom part of my lungs. So I pray something will give it takes your breath when you cough as much thank you for your kind words and suggestions

Sorry to hear of your problems Regina and l hope you get the help you need. My daughter in law has SLE and doesn't take it seriously and also smokes. I will try and talk to her l think.

Hi Regina, l am doing well thanks but our daughter in law (SLE and breast cancer) has been unwell and in hospital. She became neutropenic after one chemo session and ended up with an infection. Home now though and next chemo on 24th l believe.

Hello Regina. For me honey and lemon hot drinks and Vicks Vapor rub helps. I usually put it in hot water and inhale the steam. I'm not sure if it will help you but that's what I do for relief. I hope you feel better soon.

Thank you the coughing is due to the fibrosis in the lung but something will give playfully lupus is no joke it can affect different organs in your body I pray you will conquer any situation your going thru we are warriors.

I have Rhuemathoid Arthritis. Hence my lung disease. I so understand. ❤

Thank you casblana the coughing is due to scarr tissue in my Lungs because of Lupus I'm am trying cough syrup and any form of relief I can get I pray more treatments will come abroad from this disease thank you again

I agree with Caspiana and I also rub vic on the soles of my feet. Seems strange but it works for me. I also have lupus and lung disease. Hope you're feeling better soon.

Good morning all I'm finding out that my skin also may be affected as well with having some swelling with fluid in my scalp. Also I'm still coughing I'm taking a pill that helps with the cough any suggestions on calming down the cough which is a part of my pulmonary disease
