I m sitting here having a cup,of tea when someone comes to the door,,,,,,and it's the fitness manager from the leasure centre where I go ( and PULMARY rehab ) my absence had been noticed and so he asked the nurse if I was ok ,she explained I was having other health issues and was seeing the consultant on Thursday in the hope I avoid supplementary oxygen ,(he knows/they know/ everyone knows) how I'm trying to avoid it ,,,, any way ,the reason of his visit was to wish me luck and along with a letter from the team at the gym stating my attendance,,,, there was also a printout of the last 3months of my workouts ,. I hope this is some help to you when you see the consultant ,and will see the proof of how you try so hard to keep fit and well .,,,,

How much you must have impressed them with your efforts and determination. It was a really kind thing for him to have done, Nanny. I hope you're feeling better and that it goes well for you on Thursday.

What a lovely surprise Fair makes the heart smile to read about those who care about what happens to others and who want to help - thanks for posting and good luck with the consultant x

Hello Nanny. That is so lovely of them to do that. I am impressed. They have someone on top of their game running that program for sure. I have recently gone on supplementary oxygen and so understand your feelings. I really hope everything goes well with your consultant on Thursday. Thinking of you.
Thank you cas ,,, how are you coping with the oxygen when out and about ,,,,,hubby keeps telling me "pride comets before a fall " haha ,, I've decided ,, I think ,,,if he suggests oxygen again tomorrow,, I'll give it a try ,,,π
Wow - that's impressive - you really are lucky to have such support. Good luck with your consultant. Keep us updated; hope you can avoid the supplementary oxygen (I'm same - trying to avoid it - my next oxygen assessment in Jan - dreading it!). Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year xx
