At wits end

2weeks into chest infection had xray last Friday no results yet coughing all the time now but nothing coming up don't know what to do waiting on hernia op but can't shift this any advice

Hi Gerard, could you maybe phone your surgery & see if the results are available yet?

My advice would be to go to GP & see if you can get answers.

Going today not hopeful can't understand why he's not giving me any medication to help tks

Maybe he's waiting for results but I would have expected you to be on a course of antibiotics if you've definitely got a chest infection.

Horrid! I agree with Jessy - go back to GP before the weekend and just ask for help. That's what they're there for.

My problems started with a dry cough four years ago. For about seven months my cough was dry and then, seems like overnight, my cough became productive, and has been ever since. After an x ray and ct scan I was diagnosed with bronchiectasis and difficult asthma.
