My mother had copd can she get a blue badge or disability benefits

At least try. How far can she walk, what can she do, etc., etc. I have a blue badge (I have emphysema and Bronchictasis and chronic osteoporosis) but I would not have tried if a friend hadn't encouraged me to. I couldn't go anywhere without it. Good luck

Anyway, with regards to Blue Badge and Disability benefits.........These all depend on the individual and their circumstances, starting with a blank sheet ( as it appears you are) I would strongly advise you to see a Welfare specialist rather than hoping for the correct answers on a public forum. Age Concern, your Local Link, Citizens Advice etc etc or even begin with a more specialist on line forum such as Yourable, or Fightback Forum. You could also see Benefits and work, but there is a fee for membership. But ideally you need a face to face with someone who deals with these things day to day.

I could give you links to self tests on ESA ( Employment support Allowance) if your Mother is of working age, and a link to a PIP (Personal Independence Payment) self test.

If your mother is not of working age then I think Attendance Allowance will be your first port of call, but I have no experience of this.
