Hello everybody, I have completed my presentation boards for my university design project and I would like to get your feedback and thoughts about how it could or could not benefit you.
Please bear in mind that it is a hyperthetical idea based off the research I have gathered.
I would also be grateful if I had your permission to add your comments ('quotes') into my presentation. All quotes will be put on the presentation under ficticial personas to retain your privacy.
I have uploaded 3 images of the boards for you to look at. It would helpful to know what you think.
Thank you
I will try to answer any questions you have.
the 2 other images will follow in seperate posts
"All situations and characters in the presentation are ficticious and made up to enphasise the story. Only the statistics are real."
ok it turns out the images can not be zoomed in, so ill explain it.
The idea is an app called 'GEN', connected to a device in the valve which measures every breath you take and converts it into time so you know how much time you have exactly with a certain cylinder. The has smart features, for example, where you can plan your day, find new friends in your area to go out with, monitor your health (doctor can also access this info), and get access to forums and support groups. The is also part of a service which goes like this:
1) Rep delivers oxygen
, gives in depth training , walks through app set up, helps take initial readings
2) Air flow meter in valve
, connected to actuator, connected to a server, coverts air flow readings into a measure of time and sends readings to 'gen'.
3) The app is broken up into 4 main
categories.
4) ASSISTANT - Stores emergency contacts,
ask 'gen' anything, reminds of upcoming events, automatically re-order oxygen and stores detailed information about equipment.
5) PLANNER - Plan daily/weekly & monthly tasks
, calender feature, task manager to swiftly organise, travel planner to get there with ease, make appointments with gp or hospital.
6) COMMUNITY - Find a local friend, filters to find an activity when finding a friend
, access online communities, look for local support groups, find upcoming events in the community and 'pen pal' to stay in touch with new friends.
7) SUPPORT - Contact assigned carers
, monitor health, GP able to access server to monitor users health, access blf website, access to supllier aftercare team and answers to FAQ's.
8) ON HAND - Detects anomolies in breathing,
if 'gen' detects problems, she asks if they need assistance, if 'yes' is answered, 'gen' automatically calls emergency contacts, built in gps to guide emergency services.
9) GOING OUT - User is more confident about going out
, enjoys time with like minded friends, less fear of oxygen running out while outside, more on hand support gives more confidence and leads to a better quality of life.
All done, again this is just a concept that is hyperthetical for my university project. I just need to know peoples thoughts. Thank you
