Copd and dogs
Do not forget not to spoil it to much . As they are like children
Good for you! I'm sure that you'll reap the benefits. Enjoy. XXX
a decision I don't think you will regret , there is another member on here who got one a few months ago , she was asking for advice before she got a dog now she wouldn't be with out him , look forward to seeing a photo when you get one
Good for you and the future member of your family. We adopted a 'rescue' dog two years ago. My husband and I are retired and felt we would be able to be around her most of the day.
What a joy she has brought to our lives. She's a West Highland Terrier and is now 10 yrs old. She was rescued from a puppy mill, so she spent the first 8 yrs of her life in a small cage, sitting in her own feces, little human contact, for breeding purposes. When the breeders feel the dog is too old to breed, they call rescue places or have the dogs put down.
She brings us joy every day, and we in turn, make her remaining years as happy as possible.
Dogs and cats are very theraputic, they take your mind off of your health issues and they are there to comfort you on bad days.

Can’t wait to see a photo if you send us one. Good luck. I would love one but one of my cats HATES dogs and would probably attack it!
