Hello. I have stage two emphzema,{can't ever remember how to spell it}, and I get soooo tired. I do have home oxygen, mainly use it at night, but I am just tired all the time.I still do everything on my own, bath and housework.Anyone have any tips on how to feel better?

Hi Penelope3 I also suffer with awful tiredness I find the best thing is to pace yourself try t. plan ahead. Only do what really needs doing now and most of all most things can wait until tomorrow. Not easy I know but don't beat yourself up if you can't do all the things you want too.

take care

I think part of it is things happening here so fast, his company he works for is going to shut the doors in November, so he will have to find new employment, and I worry about health insurance.Everything seems to be dragging me down.

Lovely cat photo Penelope3.

Lung problems are very draining and tiring. My hubby Pete tends to sleep whenever he can and sk aye feels tired.

A good healthy lifestyle alongside medication can help and moving around when you can too.

I do wish you well. Take care xxxx

Hello Penelope, I like the way you spell Emphysema !😁 I have it also and it makes me so tired especially if I don't pace myself and eat plenty of small meals or snacks and smoothies. Food is the best way to take in the nutrition we need and I've got myself a supply of vitamins as Autumn soon turns to Winter and building up your immune system is a good idea with so many coughs and colds going around this time of year!

It sounds like you have some changes ahead that might be causing you concern and yes negative thinking can way heavy on our minds and make us very tired 😴..change can be positive though and lead to good things just try to picture you and your man how you would like to see you both in the future 😀😀it will make you feel happier and lift your vibration to a higher level. Good luck and happiness in the future, huff 💐 xxx

Hi Penelope, I can't advise much on the Emphysema and oxygen although, I have stage 2 myself, it isn't having too much of an impact - unless I try to rush around. But, I have had depression most of my life and the worst symptom I have is bone crushing tiredness.

It might be worth having a word with your Docter, they would be able to check if that's the real problem. xx

Hello Penelope3,

Oh I so love your big foot cat...he is so chunky:-)

I get tired too - I have moderate copd, but obviously your oxygen makes you more tired. The trick is not to let it creep up on you, try to distract yourself to delay it. I take Merlin out or do a bit in the garden, or make a mess with one of my several hobbies, or make lists of things to do one day, but when I have had my lunch I give myself half an hour or so of shut eye. Maybe in your case you can't delay it, and need little cat naps, but whatever suits you - just do it.

I see you are worried about the future, so really hope your husband can get employment lined up soon so you won't have the extra anxiety about insurance.

I hope it all turns out well for you.

xx

Hi Six, I am some better today, going to get Flu shot this afternoon after hubby gets home from work. It is windy and chilly, so I dug out a coat.I think Chronic means it will just continue at that stage.
