I'm new. I've recently being diagnosed with PF and just wondered if it's best to rest & not do anything that makes me out of breath or do I push myself each day. Go out, do what I can without over doing it too much. I just don't know which is best!! X

Thanks. I have been nursing it I think. If I have a bad day I stay in for the next week trying to recover. I have a small flat & walking around just trying to do the simple things has me out of breath. My poor hanging baskets have died because I just haven't been able to water them. I will try & walk more but to be honest I'm so out of breath it's going to be hard but thanks for advice. X

Ask your Doctor to refer you to pulmonary rehab they are trained to show the best way to breathe and how much exercise to take the class is usually run local to where you live plus you get to talk to others. I have the same and found one of these courses quite helpful. And of course this group are great for responding when you feel down just keep in touch.
