Emphysema another day that is to warm to go out side another day of not being able to breathe properly again

I have emphysema too but love the sunshine. I find I can manage it in small doses so tend to pop in and out to the garden all day. When it gets too humid for me to be comfortable I sit indoors but by the window so I can still enjoy the warmth.

Camilla1, 😞 I have emphysema and struggle with heat too. One thing I've learned is just accept it. There isn't anything you can do to change the weather, but can learn to not worry about going outside and find indoor activities to enjoy, resting during the hottest part of the day. I do a lot of pursed lip breathing because I'm not able to walk far without getting sob, I have to stop and rest more frequently. There must be some time when things cool down enough for you to go outside like early morning or night. We finally got a break today from over 100 degree temps plus its raining ☔ which helps wash away the pollen. Hope you feel better soon! 😊 grannyk3
