Aw Pauline, I've only had mine 5 years ... no worries ... I'll catch up soon!

(only joking - sorry, I try and not get too serious about it - hope you don't mind)

How you doing, what help/treatments are you getting?

Great to have you around - there's lots of sensible people here ... and me!

Hi y_not and me too!!! 😳 Ha! Ha! 😂

Hi Pauline nice to meet you. I have had copd for around 8-9 years as well. I thought it was around 5-6 but a friend who was diagnosed a year or so earlier than me said it was longer. You have certainly come to the right place as we are a very friendly, helpful bunch so don't be afraid to post or just join in with replying to others posts. x

Hi Pauline welcome to the best place, you will get lots of good advise on here don't be afraid to ask anything. I have copd and was diagnosed 20 yrs ago although it is a progressive illness you learn to cope along the way, staying positive will help. You don't say what stage you are at but there are lots of help including a rehab course which I think is a must, you meet with lots of people in the same boat who understand what you are going through. Hope to hear from you soon take care.

Love Sue

Hello Pauline, welcome to the site. I was diagnosed with COPD around seven years ago but have had chest problems before then. Am in the same age group as yourself, and have other health problems so am on more than one site . Hope to chat to you again soon. xx

Hi Pauline, I have been coping with COPD for the past 14 years. I always see the glass half full rather than half empty. Welcome aboard.
