HELLO... I AM SUFFERING FROM INHALING PROBLEM. I COULD NOT INHALE PROPERLY AND IF I INHALE WITH PRESSURE THEN I AM HAVING PAIN IN MY LEFT SIDE OF CHEST AND SOMETIMES IN RIGHT. MY OXYGEN SATURATION IS ALSO DECREASING AND SOMETIMES GOING TO 70. AT THAT TIME MY HEART RATE IS ALSO LOW. I HAVE PERFORMED ALMOST ALL TESTS. BUT THEY ALL ARE NORMAL EXCEPT SPIROMETRY. ITS PERFORMED 3 TIMES AND OUT OF 3 TIMES 2 TIMES THE RESULTS ARE RESTRICTIVE AND 3RD TIME ITS NORMAL. EXCEPT THIS SOMEONE ADVISED ME TO GIVE BLOOD TEST FOR CORTISOL LEVEL. WHEN I PERFORMED THIS TEST THE RESULTS WERE TOO LOW. i.e. 0.35 and 0.59.. AFTER THIS I WENT FOR ENDO.. DR. AND HE STARTED GIVING ME HYDROCORTS..

WHEN I FEEL THIS PROBLEM MY HANDS AND FEET BOTH ARE COLD AND MY FACE COLOUR ALSO CHANGES TO BLACKISH. THERE IS DARKNESS IN FRONT OF MY EYES. MY LYMPHOCYTES ARE 48%.

WHEN MY O2 LEVEL DECREASES THEN I HAVE TO TAKE OXYGEN FROM OXYGEN CYLINDER.

DOCTORS ARE NOT ABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM. ALL HAVE REFERED TO PHYSACTIRST BUT HE ALSO SAID THAT ITS NOT RELATED PHYCATRIST. PLEASE HELP....

Hello, Karan. I am sorry to hear of your problems. You sound to be really struggling. Exactly what help is it you are looking for? I'm afraid nobody on here can diagnose you. Why don't you give the BLF nurses a ring tomorrow and ask their advice? They are available during office hours on 03000 030 555.

Hi

If you are using mist inhalers, try using a spacer with normal tidal breathing, chest breathing. Just four normal breaths which is sufficient to empty chamber and deliver the medication to the right spot.

No help for the rest.

FIRSTLY I WOULD LIKE TO THANK YOU FOR YOUR REPLY.

I AM ALREADY USING BUDATE-200 INHALER WITH A SPACER.

BUT NO RELIEF.

Karan, I hope you get a diagnosis soon or a treatment that can help you. I don't really understand your condition but it sounds like you have a combination of heart and lung problems. But I would like to say to you that many of us on here with breathing problems, sometimes have long periods of illness with many courses of antibiotics and steroids. From November last year to March of this year, I was almost constantly ill with an infection and severe shortness of breath. It took two hospital stays to deal with the infection and inflammation but eventually it settled down and I began to feel better. Sometimes it feels like those bad periods are never going to end but they can and they often do. I hope things get easier for you.

Not what you're looking for?
