Like all the other lovely members on here, you are all very present in my thoughts.Thinking of your family and dear little"George" bless him.Bereavement and Grief can be so conflicting, when all around us nothings appears to have changed.Shops are open, people are rushing to work, our mail is delivered, at the flick of a switch we have light.People are taking vacations, evident by the Silver Trails high above us.How can life proceed when my life, as I know it has fallen apart, is a question we ask ourselves!! .In a moment of reflection, all these very normal , daily activities, give us the hope we need, that yes we will be given the courage and support to carry on.Never to be the same, but one day, quite unexpectedly we feel the Sun on our back, and can appreciate it.We find yourself smiling when we open the curtains to reveal the Sun is shining, and you have noticed it.Richard will be a breath away always, quietly encouraging you as you take a different route. We preferred our Old ,Familiar Route, but then you think, actually I'm can do this, Sending gentle thoughts,Xx .

That was very touching 19441934 and so true. Lots of different emotions tend to confuse us when we lose a loved one. We need time to sort all these emotions out and make sense of them. It doesn't seem fair to those left behind that the world is going on all around us as if nothing has happened when we are going through such a traumatic time.

Azure_Sky has many friends on here who have her and her family (and George of course) in their thoughts and prayers just as I have.

Thank You for sharing.

Regards. John

Azure Sky, that is totally understandable. It w.ill take some time for George to adjust, our Tia was .depressed for several months after Terry died.Like George, she was always by my husband's side.He will gradually adjust to the changed Dynamics. In the meantime, you are doing all you can in the transitional period. We all share your sadness and the huge void you are all experiencing.Thinking of you all,Xx .

Bless him,all you can do is try to keep his routine, but also add a little game to test and tire his mind,my dogs love playing find the treat,I have 3 small basins and I hide a treat under one and they push them around the floor, tiles, are best and so funny, but it makes them think and changes their train of thought.give George a hug from us all.🐾🐾
